Meet the Team

Dr. Craig DiGiovanni

Hi! I'm Dr. Craig (you can say my last name like "dee-JOE-von-ee"). I'm a special kind of doctor called a pediatric neuropsychologist — that means I help kids understand how their brain works! Before becoming a doctor who works with kids, I was actually an engineer who was trained to design things. Then I decided I wanted to help people instead, so I went back to school to learn all about kids and how the brain works.

I spent a lot of time learning how to help kids at different places, including hospitals and schools. I worked at a big hospital in Hershey, Pennsylvania where Hershey’s chocolate bars were invented! Here, I helped kids who had concussions (that's when you bump your head really hard), kids with different learning styles, and babies who needed extra care.

In my job, I help lots of different kids. Some might have trouble paying attention or sitting still, some might have had a bump on the head, and others might have been born with special conditions that make learning a little harder. My job is to figure out how their brain works best so we can help them do better at school and at home!

When I'm not helping kids, I love exploring Maine with my family and my friendly German Shepherd dog named Lenox. I also enjoy learning about my family history. Here’s a fun fact about me: I am a citizen of two countries—the United States 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦

I hope we can work together soon!
